Our Staff Bill Bartodziej Bill is a restoration ecologist with over 20 years of professional experience in lakeshore restoration planning, natural areas management, and watershed management. Bill has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in technical journals. He received a B.S. in Fisheries Science and an M.S. in Ecology from the University of Minnesota. Rob Langer Rob specializes in plant propagation and project management related to ecological restoration. He has over 20 years of experience in restoration, nursery management, wetland and lake assessment, and environmental permitting. He received a B.S. degree in Water Resources from the University of Minnesota Tracy Lawler Tracy is an ecologist with over 6 years of experience working with invasive species management and ecological restorations. She received a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from the University of Minnesota. Shirley Mah Kooyman Shirley is a botanist with a specialty in plant taxonomy. She is a Master Gardener who has done many teaching demonstration on planting with native plants. Shirley is also the Vice-President of the MN Native Plant Society. She received a B.S. degree from Smith College. Jill Langer Jill is an avid gardener with years of experience growing plants. She recently took on the position of nursery manager. She has over 20 experience managing small business operations. Jill received a B.S. in Business from Union College. Spencer Carlson Spencer has several years of ecological restoration field experience working with both public and private organizations. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a B.S. in Conservation Biology, is a certified arborist and MN DNR tree inspector. Sarah Overton Sarah has a background working with ecological restoration, fish and wildlife management, and outdoor education. She received a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from North Dakota State University. Martina Pieper Martina has experience working with invasive species in natural areas and has a background in nursery management.
