Using ecology to restore land and water
Boneset is a perennial with white, flat-topped flowers that bloom late summer. The leaves are unique, fused together and arching away from the stem. The plant thrives in low, moist areas, especially in rain gardens and shorelines. It is an important source of pollen and nectar for many insects. Boneset is found in swamps, meadows, embankments, and wet prairies.
