Using ecology to restore land and water
Bottlebrush grass is a cool-season, shade tolerant grass with a unique “bottlebrush” spike arrangement. It forms small colonies by re-seeding. It has a fibrous root system, making it a great plant for steep, shady hillsides. Bottlebrush grass is found in woodlands, riverbanks, and floodplains.
