Using ecology to restore land and water
Turtlehead is a clump-forming perennial with dense clusters of white or cream colored flowers. The flower petals are fused with the upper petals forming a hood, resembling a turtle head. The flowers are visited by bumblebees and hummingbirds for nectar. Turtlehead is a great plant for home landscaping and rain gardens.
